St. Joseph's Care Center began as a sponsored ministry of The Sister’s of The Holy Cross and is now a member of the Trinity Continuing Care Services an affiliate of Trinity Health. Trinity Health is the third largest Catholic health system in the United States. Trinity was formed in 2000 through the consolidation of Holy Cross Health System and Mercy Health System.

St. Joseph’s Care Center is a not for profit, faith based, mission driven facility that dates back to the founding Sisters of Mercy in 1831 and the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1841. Continuing in the tradition of this service a Sister continues to be on staff to meet the needs of the residents we serve.

Today, this partnership enables us to promote more choices, tailored to the unique needs of each individual. St. Joseph's Care Center promotes an environment that takes care of the Mind, Body and Spirit. A non-denominational Chapel and Life Enrichment Activities round out a diverse program.

St. Joseph's Care Center offers several levels of care that meets the need of each individual. Our Skilled Care Unit serves the community by providing care for those recovering from hospital stay, or those needing rehab services. Our Intermediate Care is for those needing less intensive care and our Trinity Unit meets the needs of those with Alzheimer’s or other memory impairments.

Our services include skilled and intermediate nursing care, physical, occupational, speech and restorative therapy, as well as recreational and spiritual activity programming. St. Joseph's Care Center also supports the needs of those with memory loss on our specialized Trinity unit.
